Sportsfest flicks

Despite the heavy rains of angry storm, Informaticians couldn't control their fiery desires to beat each other’s team. Everybody was so eager to grab the chance of winning. However, the management was concern of the student's health a fair reason to have the sports fest postponed. Although dismayed, students respected the decision and the event was re-scheduled on July 25, 2009 8:00Am Pasig GreenPark Court. The good thing is, the students remained energetic and challenged until that day. It’s like the cancellation added more thrill and fun! Let us show you a short video of the IICC sports fest part II :)

Choose ur MUSE

Truly, nothing can stop the battle because tomorrow will be the grand opening of IICC Sports fest 2009!

To spice it up, a motorcade is planned that will give pride to every team's beauty representative. There is a total of six nominees to compete for popularity, talent and wits. So hold your jaws tight and get your heart ready to be captivated by the freshest faces from our school.

Being a muse is quite a big step to get noticed. Above was the tarpaulin of their pictorial displayed right at the campus entrance for everyone to adore and see. Also, every team throws all support for their candidate. Moderators and team mates are doing everything to help them be able to win. Tickets are available and is sold for only P5. Surely, judges will have a hard time criticizing these young pretty ladies.

Still, only one star will be the fairest of them all. And she will be the IICC representative for the upcoming InterInfolympics 2009.

Hot! Straight from E.R

A(H1N1) Virus SPREADING WORLD WIDE!!

Influenza A(H1N1) virus or also known as A(h1n1) is the most common flu in human.

According to my research. In about 1918-1920 this influenza virus hits the world and killsmerely 150+ million people world wide. It is thought as the most deathly pandemics in human history. This kind of influenza was named Spanish flu. This influenza affects lungs cells that cause difficult in breathing and leads to death. It is named Spanish flu because Spain was the only European country that reported about the outbreak. Now, another influenza outbreak invades our world.it is called as swine flu or Influenza A(H1N1) virus. This enemy hits the Country of Mexico first in March and April of 2009. In the same way that regular seasonal influenza viruses spread, mainly through the coughs and sneezes of people who are sick with the virus, but it may also be spread by touching infected objects and then touching your nose or mouth. But the case reported that this ordinary influenza hits the increasing amount of sick people.

NOW at THIS TIME! at this very moment, more and more people are affected in this influenza. Many have diedworld wide, increasing of victims are at high risk, and we never call tell that this influenza can cause HUMAN EXTINCTION!

♂I think I have an A(h1N1) Virus?:

+cough
+fever

+sore throat

+stuffy or runny nose

+body aches

+headache

+chills

+fatigue

+nausea and vomiting

♀I must stay healthy:

+Stay informed

+Have a vaccine

+Take a SWAB TEST

+Cover your nose and mouth with a tissue when you cough or sneeze. Throw the tissue in the trash after you use it.

+Wash your hands often with soap and water, especially after you cough or sneeze.
Alcohol-based hands cleaners are also effective.

+Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth. Germs spread that way.

+Stay home if you get sick. If it gets worst go to the nearest hospital.

+Follow health advice.

+As much as possible take vitamins.

+Eat healthy.

+Use medical mask if needed.
STAY ALERT!

" rain, rain go away
come again another day "

You'd wish summer to stay for the upcoming sports event in Informatics International College! It will be held on July 13-18 2009 at Christine Village Village Cainta. Students were divided into six groups which was the Green, Red, White, Black, Blue and Gray team.

BLACK TEAM

BLUE TEAM

GRAY TEAM

GREEN TEAM

RED TEAM

WHITE TEAM

The pictures above were taken by Miss Anne Tonito (ISAC moderator) during each team's first meeting. Everybody was enthusiastic and cooperative which was a good sign of success for this affair. They were listening attentively as their moderators talked about fees, team names and uniforms. Speaking of uniform, take a look at this sample we grabbed from school bulletin board:

Meetings are still on going, each team carefully choosing their players and secretly planning of strategic ways to win. And what is a sports fest without a muse? Get updated as we extract more sports fest juices on our next blogs! :)
